The Metric Units

Mass is the amount of matter in an object: units = kilograms

Volume is the amount of space an object takes up: units = liters, meters^3

Density is mass per unit volume: units = grams/cubic centimeter (g/cc)

Weight is the measure of the force of attraction between objects due to gravity. units = newtons
