USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park Entrance
Although we have been Temporary closed since March 17th, due to COVID-19, we have made the most of our time. Construction has continued throughout the shutdown and is progressing well. The temporary walkway which was in front of our Gift Shop is now completely removed; and the regular entry into the park has been completed. Preservation for all outdoor artifacts has also been addressed during this time.
The completion of our museum renovations and reopening have been delayed because of shipping postponements made as a result of the pandemic. Pacific Studio, our exhibit fabricator (in Seattle), has been shut down since mid-March and it is unclear when they will resume operations. That being the case, we are unable to estimate a completion date for our renovation at this time.
We appreciate your continued patience and support during this time. We will keep you updated on both the reopening date and a completion date for the museum.
