The Day before the Attack on Pearl Harbor

On December 6, 1941, a day prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt wrote a letter to the Japanese Emperor expressing concerns surrounding turmoil in the Pacific area of operations.

Renovation Progress Amid Second Shutdown

Despite the second mandated shutdown on Oahu, we have continued to execute our renovation project. We are happy to inform you that the construction phase of our renovation is complete -- we are now focusing efforts on exhibit installation.
